Most of our differently abled students are from villages. So they need training in agricultural skills and farming. We have a deepwell and put a pipeline all over the 25 acres supplying them with copious good water for irrigation and for other uses. To train them in agriculture we have planted banana, Mango and gooseberry as well as coconut seedlings. These students are now trained in irrigation too. We have also cultivated ground nuts, black grames and vegetables like brinjal, tomato and radish. These students showed much interest in reaping the harvest. The staff and students together enjoyed in taking the yields. Last year we made `.50,000/- by selling the ground nuts. The net profit we got from the cultivation of ground is `.15,000/-.
